SanremoCorse Gr.A: 17-inch tarmac rally wheels

SanremoCorse Gr.A is the EVO Corse 17-inch wheel developed for tarmac rallying and competition cars inspired by Group A specifications. Its configuration draws on experience gained from demanding rally applications, where structural strength, brake-system cooling and steering precision must coexist within the same wheel.

The paired-spoke design contributes to the wheel’s structural strength and promotes airflow towards the brakes. The layout also leaves room for quick mechanical work, while the inner profile is designed to accommodate large braking systems.

SanremoCorse Gr.A was developed to maintain compatibility with original magnesium wheels on the relevant Group A applications. It is therefore a suitable solution for historic and modern rally cars, including dedicated configurations for performance Renault, Peugeot and Citroën models.

Materials, finishes and configurations

SanremoCorse Gr.A is manufactured from A356-T6 aluminium alloy.

Standard colours for the rally version are white and matt black. Silver, gold, anthracite, gloss bronze, matt bronze and gloss black are also available.

For the ECE-approved Mini Cooper version, the standard colour is matt black. White, silver, gold, anthracite, gloss bronze, matt bronze and gloss black are also available.

Designed for tarmac rallying

In tarmac rallying, the wheel works closely with the tyre, suspension and braking system. SanremoCorse Gr.A is intended for vehicles requiring a 17-inch wheel, a solid structure and appropriate clearance for racing-derived brake systems.

The 7×17″ configuration allows offset, PCD and centre bore to be defined according to the specific vehicle. The wheel is intended for tarmac rallying and selected road-car applications, subject to verification of the correct configuration.

ECE-approved Mini Cooper version

SanremoCorse Gr.A is also available in a specific ECE-approved version for Mini Cooper road use. This configuration combines the design and characteristics of the Gr.A wheel with the requirements of Mini Cooper, Cooper S, John Cooper Works, Cabrio and Clubman applications.

Configuration and mounting system

SanremoCorse Gr.A can be supplied with the EVO Corse mounting kit, including an aluminium centre ring and high-strength nuts or bolts.

Steel inserts are included and available with 60° or 90° conical seats, or flat seats. The ECE-approved Mini Cooper version uses 60° conical steel inserts. The correct configuration must be defined according to the vehicle, braking system, PCD, offset, centre bore and applicable approval requirements.

The listed applications identify the main models for which SanremoCorse Gr.A is intended. Actual fitment must always be verified according to vehicle year and version, wheel size, PCD, offset, centre bore, brake clearance, tyre choice and applicable approval requirements.
